LIVE BLOG: Obama, Kaine, Biden Make the Case for Hillary Clinton as President

update

The theme for the third day of the Democratic National Convention is "Working Together." Previous speakers included Vice President Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg.

Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, wearing sunglasses after an exercise injury, is helped onstage. The crowd begins chanting, "Harry!"

"You know, I spent a lot of time in the Senate so it's nice to be in a room that appreciated reason and facts."

Reid, who has served as a senator for Nevada since 1987, is not seeking re-election this year.

Reid says, "Trump knew that dangerous rhetoric ... is how you win in today's GOP (Republican Party), but that's not how you win in America."
