North Korea has called on members of the U.N. Security Council to block a Trump Administration effort to discuss the country's human rights record December 10th. North Korea's U.N. ambassador, Kim Song, in a letter expressed surprise and regret that the Council would "swim against the current trend" of rapprochement over Pyongyong's pledge to denuclearize.
