Former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak was in High Court Wednesday. He’s facing multiple corruption charges stemming from criminal allegations related to the 1MDB state fund. Plus, a Turkish diplomatic delegation is visiting Washington for discussions about the ongoing detention in Turkey of U.S. pastor Andrew Brunson. The trip comes at a time of escalating U.S.-Turkish tensions, which are threatening to trigger a financial crisis in Turkey.
