Malawi Opposition Supporters Clash with Police as Election Results Challenged

Malawi opposition supporters angry about the re-election of President Peter Mutharika have clashed with police, who used tear gas to break up the election protests.  Two opposition leaders this week launched a legal challenge against the results, claiming the vote was rigged. But Mutharika on state television Thursday warned police and military would put a stop to the ongoing protests.  Lameck Masina reports from Malawi’s capital, Lilongwe.
