American University in Nigeria Launches Program to Help School Children

The U.N. Children’s Fund says 10.5 million children are not attending school in Nigeria even though primary education is officially free and compulsory. To help out-of-school children in the country’s north where there have been attacks by extremists, the American University of Nigeria has launched a school called “Feed and Read.” Percy Dabang reports from Yola, Nigeria.
