According to a new United Nations report, North Koreans eking out a living in the country's thriving, informal private markets are regularly subjected to corruption and various forms of human rights abuses. Attacks on schools in Afghanistan tripled last year compared to 2017 -- the first time attacks on schools had increased since 2015. A deadly knife attack took place at a bus stop just outside of Tokyo. According to officials the perpetrator killed two and injured another 16 before killing himself.
