Community Efforts Help Reclaim In Mumbai Beaches

A citizen-led initiative in the Indian city of Mumbai commended by the United Nations for transforming a garbage-filled beachfront into a pristine shoreline has inspired other community-led efforts to reclaim more of the city's beaches. Anjana Pasricha joined a group of young volunteers in India's financial capital who have been working for over a year to restore another strip of a sandy shoreline that was buried under plastic and trash.
