The theme for the third day of the Democratic National Convention is "Working Together." Previous speakers included Vice President Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg.

Jamie Dorff, the widow of Patrick Dorff, describes how he died while deployed to Iraq. Says Hillary Clinton worked with Republicans to increase the gratuity paid to family members of fallen veterans from $12,000 to $100,000.

"She has the gumption to get things done," Dorff says.

Former presidential candidate and former governor of Maryland Martin O'Malley takes the stage to many cheers.

He criticizes Trump for saying wages are to high, countering the statement with a list of things that are "actually" too high, such as Donald Trump's ego

Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan said when Hillary Clinton looks at Detroit, she sees the opportunity to create an economy in which everyone benefits.

For a year, Duggan said he ended every event with this credo: We are going to build a Detroit where it no longer matters if you're black, brown or white, where it no longer matters if you're Christian, Jewish or Muslim, where it no longer matters if you're gay or straight, immigrant or born in Detroit. ... (and) that's the city that is starting to emerge.
