The theme for the third day of the Democratic National Convention is "Working Together." Previous speakers included Vice President Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg.

Kelly is speaking to gun violence. His wife, Gabby Giffords, survived an assassination attempt in 2011.

Mark Kelly, husband of former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, takes the stage. He is the son of police officers, he has served in the military and as an astronaut. He said he's seen the country at its best and humanity at its worst.

The two women are united in a message of healing and forgiveness.

Former Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey is a co-chair of the President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing, a blueprint for reforms.
